Around the Village|

In appreciation of Nicholas Juried’s generous donation toward the completion of the M&S Depot on the corner of Maple Avenue and Wells Avenue, the Village DPW recently installed a plaque in honor of his donation and the park named for him.

The Middleburgh Historical Society will be planting a garden in the style of Andrew Jackson Downing, an early American Landscape Architect, from the era when the Depot was a working train depot. It will feature plants that Nick’s wife loved, and plants in memory of Pat White, a very active Historical Society member, and a member of the joint Village of Middleburgh/Middleburgh Historical Society depot committee.
