August 5 Village Board Meeting Agenda & Packet

The Village of Middleburgh Board of Trustees will be holding our Monthly Meeting on Monday, August 5th at 7:00 PM. VILLAGE BOARD MEETING AGENDA – August 5, 2024

1. Mayor to open Village meeting with Pledge of Allegiance at 7:00 PM.
2. Announcement: Heritage Day Celebration will be on Friday, August 23rd from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at M&S Depot, located at 144 Wells Avenue – featuring the Catskill Gamblers. Additionally, the Village will be unearthing a time capsule at Memorial Park earlier that day at 12:00 PM – all are invited.

7. Motion to Approve RFP (Request for Proposal) for Scribner Avenue Sidewalk Replacement

9. Motion to authorize Mayor to submit NYSERDA Grant Request for $14,976 to convert River Street Historic Lights to LEDs.
10. Motion to Appoint Village Trustee Amanda Fernandez and Residents Daria Matia and Paul Koopman as Village Members to Pool Revitalization Committee; Village Mayor Timothy Knight as alternate.
11. Motion to close Cemetery Restoration Savings $281.41 and move to Perpetual Care Savings.

16. Motion to Schedule Public Hearing for Local Law #2-2024 for Monday, August 26^th, 7:00 PM at the Middleburgh Firehall.
17. Motion to Introduce Local Law #3-2024: Overriding Tax Cap and Schedule Public Hearing for Monday, September 9^th, 7:05 PM at the Middleburgh Library.
18. Motion to amend budget to add line item A5112.4 Permanent Improvements (CHIPS)
19. Motion to amend budget Revenue A3501 CHIPS from $49,942 to actual $105,646 and move Street Repairs A5110.41 $49,942 to A5112.4 and increase A5112.4 by $55,704 to correct expenditure and revenue to match.
